Rochester Americans News Release

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the Amerks' home game versus the Hamilton Bulldogs on Monday, Jan. 21 will be broadcast on WBER 90.5 FM. The game begins at 1:05 p.m. from The Blue Cross Arena.

Amerks Hall of Fame broadcaster Don Stevens and color analyst Ric Seiling will call all of the action during Monday's game as the Amerks face off with the Bulldogs.

The Amerks are honoring all first responders such as police officers, fire fighters, and emergency medical technicians on Monday. Following the Amerks-Bulldogs game, the Rochester Police Department will face-off with the Rochester Fire Department in an exhibition hockey game. To honor the victims and those affected by the tragic shootings that took place in Webster, N.Y. on Dec. 24, the Amerks will wear a West Webster Fire Department patch on their jerseys during the game against Hamilton. The jerseys will then be auctioned off online, with the proceeds going to the West Webster Fire Department.

The Amerks are also offering all First Responders a complimentary ticket to the Hometown Heroes Game. In addition to the complimentary ticket, First Responders can purchase additional tickets for their family and friends for just $15. Those interested in taking advantage of the offer can do so by visiting www.amerks.com/responders.
