Americans Shop with a Player Event Is Tonight at Dick's Sporting Goods

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans will hold their annual Shop with an Americans Player Event tonight at Dick's Sporting Goods in the Village at Allen from 6-8 pm.
This is the fifth annual Shop with an Americans Player Event, that started in 2009 and has grown each season. The Allen Americans, along with five-year corporate partner Dick's Sporting Goods, arrange a night that kids from Collin County Boys and Girls Club have the opportunity to shop for Christmas presents along with an Allen Americans player.
"This is a great night," said Allen Americans forward Jarret Lukin, who has been a part of nearly all of these events. "It really makes me happy to see the smiles on the little ones' faces as they shop for gifts throughout the store. Special thanks to Dick's Sporting Goods for being so generous and helping these kids in need."
Americans players selected to be a part of tonight's event are first year team members; Alex Lavoie, Johnathan Lessard, Bryan Pitton, John Snowden and Spencer Asuchak.
The Allen Americans Hockey Club will do several events throughout the Christmas and Holiday Season. Last week, the Allen Americans Ice Angels visited Children's Medical Center of Plano with stuffed animals for the children.
