Americans Have Two Players Named to the All-CHL Team

Allen, Texas - The Central Hockey League announced today that defenseman Tyler Ludwig and goalie Aaron Dell have been named to the All-CHL Team.

Tyler Ludwig, a native of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, is in his second season with the Allen Americans. He is second overall in the CHL in points by a defenseman with 50, (10 goals and 40 assists); that's also second on Allen, right behind Anthony Maiani with 55 points.

Ludwig has played in 202 professional games, including nine at the American Hockey League level with all three American Hockey League teams based in Texas; Houston Aeros, San Antonio Rampage and Texas Stars.

Joining Ludwig on the All-CHL Team, is goaltender Aaron Dell. Dell leads the team in wins with 20, as well as leading the Central Hockey League in both save percentage, .919 and goals against average at 2.27.

This is Dell's second award of the day. He was named earlier to the CHL All-Rookie team. Dell has started nine of the last ten games for Allen, with a record of 6-3-0. He leads the team in shutouts this season with three, and two of those three came in the same week. The former University of North Dakota product was also voted as the league's Best Goalie in the CHL's Best of the Best Awards.
