American Trust Brings Saints Fans "The Winning Edge"

DUBUQUE, Iowa - Five thousand dollars and many other great prizes are up for grabs as the Dubuque Fighting Saints, along with presenting sponsor American Trust, are proud to announce "The Winning Edge." The contest, which began last week, gives fans the chance to win weekly prizes by entering at local American Trust branches, and at the Mystique Community Ice Center during Fighting Saints games. Each week during the month of March, one lucky fan will walk away with a Fighting Saints prize package, all leading up to the $5,000 grand prize giveaway at the Fighting Saints final regular season home game on April 5.
At a home game each week during the month of March, the Fighting Saints will draw for an exclusive prize from all entries submitted. This past Saturday, one lucky fan won a road trip with the Fighting Saints to the March 22nd or 23rd game on the team bus along with tickets to the game in Cedar Rapids or Waterloo. At this Saturday's game versus Waterloo, one fan will win a suite for 10 people to an upcoming Fighting Saints game, plus scarves and game programs.
Other great prizes include a pre-game locker room visit and a chance to watch Head Coach Jim Montgomery's pre-game speech, as well as a chance to participate in a ceremonial puck drop along with tickets to an upcoming game, awarded at the Thursday, March 14 game versus Youngstown.
On March 16 versus Cedar Rapids, a fan will be selected for the chance to sit in the penalty box for a period at an upcoming Fighting Saints game. Sunday, March 24 versus Team USA, a winner will be drawn for the chance to take the ice as a member of the Fighting Saints in the starting line-up.
On Friday, March 29 versus Indiana, one fan can win an invitation to watch practice, tour the locker room, be outfitted by your very own Fighting Saints personal shopper (includes t-shirt, sweatshirt, hat and novelty item) and receive four tickets to an upcoming game.
The final prize will be drawn for during the second intermission of the Friday, April 5 game versus Waterloo. American Trust will award a $5,000 check to one fan as the grand prize winner of "The Winning Edge" contest. All fans that entered the contest will be entered to win the grand prize with no limit on the number of entries.

American Trust has been a strong supporter of the Fighting Saints since their return to the USHL in 2010. The company has served as the presenting sponsor of Fighting Saints hockey the last three seasons. The Fighting Saints and American Trust teamed up with American Trust for "The Winning Edge," last season and are again excited to provide additional excitement for Fighting Saints fans and supporters.

Fans next chance to enter during a Fighting Saints game is Friday, as Dubuque hosts Sioux City at 7:35 p.m for an Animal House 35th Anniversary Celebration. Saturday is a Prairie Farms Cowbell Cup game with Waterloo at 7:05 p.m. That game is High School Rivalry Night, and the first 1,000 fans get a Fighting Saints Drawstring Backpack.
