American Hockey League Announces Suspensions

March 30, 2017 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release


SPRINGFIELD, Mass.-The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:

Bridgeport Sound Tigers forward Ross Johnston has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of his actions in a game at Springfield on Mar. 29.

Johnston received an automatic one-game suspension under the provisions of AHL Rule 23.7 for accumulating his 10th fighting major this season. He will miss Bridgeport's game Friday (Mar. 31) at Lehigh Valley.

Binghamton Senators forward Max McCormick has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of his actions in a game vs. Syracuse on Mar. 29.

McCormick was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Binghamton's game Friday (Mar. 31) at St. John's.
