Amarillo, TX - The Laredo Lemurs played the second game of a three game series and lost to the Amarillo Sox 21-5.

The Sox playing on their home turf started the scoring in the bottom of the first by putting a run on the board and followed up with two runs in the second.

The Sox scored runs in six of the eight innings that they had at bats. Three batters hit homeruns for the Sox and they drove in 20 RBI's on the day.

The standout player among the Amarillo Sox was third baseman Matt Tucker. Tucker went four for six on the day and hit for the cycle. Tucker singled in the first, tripled in the fifth, homered in the sixth, and doubled in the seveth. He also picked up seven RBI's and scored three runs for the Sox.

The Lemurs were led by Jimmy Mojica, Anthony Scelfo, and John Allen. All three had two hits and Allen added a 430 foot home run to the mix.

The Lemurs will send Mark Haynes to the mound tomorrow at 7:05pm to help the Lemurs pull out of the three game slide.
