WEEKEND PREVIEW - BULLS BEGIN FOUR GAME HOMESTAND WITH TWO VERSUS TOPEKA

THE TEAMS: Topeka RoadRunners @ Amarillo Bulls

WHEN: Tomorrow (Saturday) night and Sunday at 7 pm

WHERE: Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center

PROMOTIONS: Sunday is Family Fiesta Night - The Bulls welcome the Mexican Luchador Wrestler The Blue Demon to town for autographs. There will be $1 hotdogs and a limited amount of $8 Silver Level End Zone Tickets available.

BROADCAST OPTIONS: Tune into the action live on CBS Sports Radio 1440, online at www.amarillobulls.com and on PPV with Hockey TV beginning with Pre-Game coverage at 6:40 pm. The puck drop follows at 7 pm.

THE SERIES: It's the 5th and 6th meetings of the season between the Amarillo Bulls and the Topeka RoadRunners. The Bulls have collected four out of a possible eight points (1-1-0-2) in the first four games. Offense has not been a problem in the series with the teams combining for a total of 36 goals.

MOVES AND TRANSACTIONS: Both teams have made minor moves prior to the weekend series. The Bulls have traded Nick Fea to the Topeka, while Josh Kamrass has stepped aside as Head Coach of the RoadRunners and Justin DeMartino has taken his place as Interim-Head Coach. Kamrass will remain with the organization as Director of Hockey Operations for all three organizations (the RoadRunners and their two NA3HL programs.)

ACROSS THE SOUTH THIS WEEKEND: There is one game tonight in the South Division tonight as the Odessa Jackalopes visit the Lone Star Brahmas. On Saturday, the Corpus Christi IceRays entertain the Shreveport Mudbugs at American Center.

TIGHT SOUTH DIVISION STANDINGS: Just four points separate third through sixth in the South Division entering action this weekend. The Bulls and the Odessa Jackalopes are tied for third place with 24 points, while the Corpus Christi IceRays are two back in fourth place with 22 points. The Topeka RoadRunners are in 6th place with 20 points.

STATS ETC: The Topeka RoadRunners have seven one-goal wins this season, while the Bulls just have four. The Bulls and the RoadRunners have no victories between the them when trailing after 40 minutes this season. Forward Nic Granowicz has been a road warrior for Topeka 11 points in his last seven games away from home. Granowicz is tied for the lead league in scoring with 30 points and 12 of them have been via the power play. Goaltender Emil Gransoe leads the league in saves with 520 and losses with 10. Bulls forward Jon Russell has 16 goals to lead all players, while defenseman Brendan Michaelian has 19 helpers to be in front of that category.
