Amarillo Bulls Back at It with Two this Weekend

AMARILLO, TX - After concluding their first weekend off of the season, the Amarillo Bulls get back at it on home ice at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. The Bulls host the Wichita Falls Wildcats for two games on Friday and Saturday at 7 pm. Those two games are in the middle of the Bulls seven game home stand.

Friday night fans are encouraged to come out and celebrate Halloween by dressing up. If fans show up in a costume they receive $2 off their ticket. The Southwest AMBUCS will be in attendance to present two Trikes to deserving individuals during the first Intermission.

Saturday is Pink In the Rink night which has become not only a tradition in Amarillo but in other sports and hockey communities. One dollar from each ticket sold will benefit Breast Center of Excellence. The first 500 fans receive a Pink T-shirt courtesy of Panhandle Tickets, and one lucky child will win a pink bike courtesy of Seven Grill and Bar.

Despite the off-weekend, the Bulls fell into a tie for third place in the South Division with the Odessa Jackaloopes. The visiting Wichita Falls Wildcats are alone in 5th place. The two teams have already met twice in East Texas with the score of 3-2 being the deciding factor. Amarillo took the first game on opening night and the Wildcats rebounded for a win earlier this month.
