North Little Rock, AR - The Arkansas Travelers beat the Springfield Cardinals 6-4 on Sunday afternoon at Dickey-Stephens Park.

Arkansas utilized back-to-back home runs from 1B Eric Aguilera and DH Jabari Henry in the fourth to jump out in front 2-0, the team's first back-to-back home runs this season. Arkansas added two more in the frame on an RBI single from 3B Angel Rosa and an RBI triple by SS Anthony Phillips.

The Travs extended their lead to 6-0 in the fifth on RBIs from Henry and LF Bo Way.

Springfield clawed back with a DH Nick Thompson two-run home run in the seventh and two more unearned runs in the ninth, but LHP Tyler DeLoach (S, 1) came on with two outs in the ninth and notched his first-ever professional save.

RHP Jordan Kipper (W, 4-2), a start after his nine-inning no-hitter, tossed seven frames on Sunday and allowed two runs on eight hits with two walks and no strikeouts.

RHP Alan Busenitz worked a scoreless eighth with two strikeouts and RHP Austin Wood retired two batters in the ninth.

The 6-4 final was the third straight for Arkansas and Springfield.

Phillips finished 1-1 with the RBI triple and three walks. The shortstop has reached base in 11 of his last 18 plate appearances.

Henry went 2-for-4 with the home run, two runs scored and two RBIs.

Aguilera also had two hits with the home run and Way finished 2-for-3 with a double, run, RBI, walk and stolen base.

Arkansas finished 4-for-8 with runners in scoring position.

With the win, the Travs have no earned victories in five of their last six games and improved to 18-25 on the season. The two teams will conclude the series on Monday with first pitch scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
