Albuquerque 5 El Paso 4 - Saturday WP: Flemer (6-3) LP: Lamet (0-1) S: None Time: 2:42 (:33 delay) Attn: 12,570

Raimel Tapia's diving catch with two outs in the ninth inning kept the tying run from scoring and sealed a 5-4 win for the Albuquerque Isotopes over the El Paso Chihuahuas Saturday. Both teams have won two of the first four games of the series. The current standings place El Paso in first by 4.5 games over Albuquerque with nine games remaining in the regular season.

The Chihuahuas had two first-inning hits, including a solo home run by Nick Noonan, but then did not get another baserunner until the ninth, when they rallied for three runs on four hits, an RBI triple by Carlos Asuaje and RBI singles by Manuel Margot and Austin Hedges. Trailing 5-4 with pinch runner Auston Bousfield at first base, Hector Sanchez hit a line drive to left-center field and Tapia made the fully-outstretched catch to end the game.

El Paso starter Dinelson Lamet allowed only two runs in six innings in his Triple-A debut. Margot went 2-for-4 with an RBI, his second straight multi-hit game for El Paso. Jose Rondon went 1-for-3 with a ninth-inning single, moving to 6-for-13 on the road trip.
