ALBANY AFL NAMES LES MOSS AS ASSISTANT HEAD COACH

ALBANY- Albany AFL announce that four-time Arena Football League Champion, Les Moss, has been named as the team's assistant head coach effective immediately. Per League and team rules, terms are not disclosed. Moss joins Rob Keefe (head coach) and Chris Thompson (offensive coordinator & director of football operations) on the Albany AFL coaching staff.

Les was part of the coaching staff for four ArenaBowl Championship teams (1990, 1998, 2000 and 2011). Most recently, he served as the head coach of the Jacksonville Sharks from 2010 - 2016 posting a 77-54 overall record during that time period. He was the 2010 AFL Coach of the Year and led the team to the playoffs in six of his seven seasons as head coach, including four straight division championships (2010-2013) and an ArenaBowl Championship (2011).

"The type of experience that Coach Moss brings to the team is invaluable," said head coach Rob Keefe. "Nobody has more experience coaching in this league than Les, and has been a proven winner at every stop. I'm thrilled to have him in Albany as we continue to put together a championship caliber staff."

"I am excited about the opportunity in Albany," said Coach Moss. "As the defensive coordinator for the Orlando Predators in 1999, I witnessed first-hand how passionate the Albany AFL fanbase was at ArenaBowl XIII. I am thrilled to be on their side this season!"

A team representative will contact those who have submitted a deposit in the upcoming 1-2 weeks to select your specific seats, which will be done in order in which deposits were received.
