GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas - Dillon Thomas went deep, and Li Ning reached base four times, but the Texas AirHogs dropped the finale of the three-game set vs. Wichita 3-1 Sunday afternoon at AirHogs Stadium.

Pitching on his 22nd birthday, righty Gan Quan (0-4) got the start for Texas and allowed three runs over the first three innings. The AirHogs threatened to bridge the late two-run deficit but stranded six men on base over the last three innings, including the bases loaded in the eighth.

Li Ning finished the game with two singles and two walks, reaching base in all four plate appearances. He reached in all seven of his plate appearances in the series, becoming the first AirHog to reach in every plate appearance in a series.
