AHL relaunches official on-line store

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League announced today the launch of its re-designed official on-line store at www.ahlstore.com.
AHLStore.com continues to feature official league, AHL All-Star Classic and Calder Cup Playoffs merchandise and is open 24 hours a day with the click of a mouse as part of the AHL Internet Network.
Hosted by Infinity Pro Sports, ahlstore.com features an all-new look and layout, a secure and user-friendly check-out system and a new auction platform feature that allows fans to bid on select AHL merchandise and memorabilia.
The AHL Internet Network also includes theahl.com (redesigned October 2006), ahlhalloffame.com (redesigned January 2007), caldercup.com (redesign scheduled for April 2007) and all 27 official team sites, and hosts more than 240 million page views each year.
Currently in its 71st season of play, the AHL continues to serve as the top development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams. More than 83 percent of today's NHL players are American Hockey League graduates, and more than 6.3 million fans have attended AHL games across North America in each of the past five seasons.
