AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. . The American Hockey League today announced that Chicago Wolves forward Andre Deveaux has been suspended for five (5) regular-season games as a result of his actions during an AHL game vs. San Antonio on Nov. 18.
Deveaux received a match penalty under AHL Rule 47.14 for punching an unsuspecting opponent and causing injury at 15:43 of the third period.
Deveaux will miss Chicago's games on Wednesday (Nov. 21) vs. Peoria, Friday (Nov. 23) at Peoria, Saturday (Nov. 24) vs. Rockford, Nov. 27 vs. Quad City and Nov. 29 vs. Peoria.
