AFL Coaches' Poll: Arizona Remains in Top Spot After Bye Week

TULSA, OKLA. â" The Arizona Rattlers (4-0) remain in the top spot of the Coaches' Poll, receiving 18 first place votes following their Week 5 bye. The Rattlers are still one of only two undefeated teams left in the League. Arizona will head to Kansas City (1-3) to face JJ Raterink and the Command's potent offense.
The Cleveland Gladiators (3-0) earned two first place votes and remained in second place following a Week 5 bye. After early byes this season, the Gladiators will play 15 consecutive weeks. Cleveland will host the winless New Orleans VooDoo (0-4) on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. EST.
Jacksonville (3-1) continued its move up the Poll after squeaking by Orlando (3-1) for third place, following a Week 5 bye. The Sharks will head to Pittsburgh (2-2), to face a Power team who is looking to bounce back after a home loss, 45-22, against Tulsa (1-3) on April 2. The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST on Saturday.
Orlando fell one spot in the Poll after a tight home victory, 53-46, over the Philadelphia Soul (1-3). Orlando looks to move up the poll as they travel to face South Division rival Georgia (3-1) at 7:30 p.m. EST on Saturday. The Force also moved up in the Poll, following a 55-48 victory over Dallas (2-2) on NFL Network's "Arena Football Friday" last week.
After a Week 5 bye, the Chicago Rush (3-1) remained in the fifth spot in the Poll. The Rush will face the Iowa Barnstormers (2-2) in Chicago's third road game of the season. The San Jose SaberCats (3-2) moved up two spots in the Poll, following a home victory, 75-55, against division rival Utah (2-2). San Jose will look to stay hot as they head to Tulsa on Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. EST.
The Utah Blaze fell two spots in the Poll following a road loss to the SaberCats. The Blaze looks to bounce back against another division opponent, as they host the Spokane Shock (1-3) on Friday, April 15 at 9:00 p.m. EST. Iowa and Dallas rounded out the Top 10, following Week 5 losses. Both teams look to get back on track in front of their home crowds in Week 6. Dallas will host Milwaukee (1-3) on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. EST, while Iowa will play Chicago on Saturday at 8:05 p.m. EST.
