Admirals to Face Bears in Opening Round of Playoffs

NORFOLK, VA - Today, the Norfolk Admirals announced that they will face off against the Hershey Bears (Washington Capitals) in a best-of-seven East Division Semifinal playoff series beginning April 19th in Hershey.
The Admirals, who have clinched the third-seed in the East Division with two games remaining in the regular season, will meet archrival Hershey for the third time in their AHL playoff history. Norfolk held a 7-3-0-0 record in the regular season series against the Bears, including a mark of 4-1-0-0 in the Keystone State.
Second-seed Hershey will host Game 1 on Wednesday, April 19th, with Norfolk home for Games 2 and 3 on Friday, April 21st and Saturday, April 22nd. The series will return to GIANT Center for Game 4, and if necessary, Games 5 and 6. Game 7 would take place at Norfolk Scope on Monday, May 1st, also if necessary.
