Norfolk Admirals News Release

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals will look to turn things around during a seven-game road trip that kicks off on Friday in Springfield.

Last week started out on a high note for the Admirals, as Mark Parrish's goal with seven seconds left in regulation helped Norfolk to defeat Hershey 4-3 on Wednesday at Scope to end the Bears' 12-game winning streak. On Friday, Ty Wishart scored twice but the Admirals fell to the Adirondack Phantoms 3-2 at Scope. In the Saturday rematch, a season-high crowd of 6,582 fans turned out for Pink in the Rink to benefit the Tidewater Affiliate of Susan G. Komen For the Cure. Johnson had been serving as Norfolk's associate coach.
