Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Milwaukee, WI - The Milwaukee Admirals have just five home games left in the regular season and all are chalk full of promotions that are guaranteed to keep fans entertained both on and off the ice.

The fun begins this Wednesday, March 25th when the Admirals play host to the Houston Aeros at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center. The game will mark the return of Admirals legend Tony Hrkac, as the former star was recently signed by the Aeros. Hrkac played parts of five seasons with the Admirals and helped the team claim the 2004 Calder Cup Championship. He finished his career with the Admirals following the 2004-05 season and the team retired his number 26 last March.

In addition, Don Most, best known as Ralph Malph from Happy Days will be at Wednesday's game as part of SportClips Remember Whensdays when the Admirals bring stars of yesteryear to meet fans and sign autographs.

Saturday night the Admirals battle the Iowa Chops at 7:30 pm and national recording artist Styx will perform in a live post-game concert, courtesy of Miller Lite and Lee Jeans. The concert is free with a game ticket, and the Admirals are also selling a limited number of special on-ice passes for just $20 that allow fans to watch the concert from directly in front of the stage. The team is also collecting food for the Hunger Task Force at the game. Fans who bring in two non-perishable food items will receive a coupon that is good for $5 off a regularly priced Admirals ticket for any remaining home game in the regular season and one lucky fan who donates will win a trip to Jamaica, courtesy of Funjet Vacations, in a post-game karaoke contest prior to the Styx show.

The following weekend the Admirals have a pair of home games, beginning on Friday, April 3rd at 7:00 pm against the Lake Erie Monsters. The first 5,000 fans to the game will take home a black Admirals t-shirt, courtesy of Jockey. After a road game in Rockford on April 4th, the Ads will play host to the hated, but certainly not feared, Chicago Wolves on Sunday April 5th at 5:00 pm. The first 5,000 fans will get a bobblehead of Admirals great Fred Berry, courtesy of Potawatomi Bingo Casino. At both of those games, the Admirals will wear special fire and police styled jersey that will be auctioned off throughout both games and end with five minutes to go in the second intermission of Sunday's game.

The Admirals will host their second annual Blood Drive on Sunday from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm in the East Atrium of the Bradley Center. Any person who donates blood will receive a pair of tickets to a 2009-10 Admirals game. Sunday will also be the "Battle of the Badges" hockey game which pits local police versus local firemen at 12:30. The Battle for the Badges is free with a ticket to the Admirals game and $5 from each Admiral ticket sold by the Battle of the Badges will be donated to the MACC Fund.

Sunday's contest is also the final Foley & Lardner Family Day and Skate where fans can get four tickets, four sodas, and four hot dogs for just $40 and then after the game anyone who brings their skates can take a lap on the Bradley Center ice. Foley and Lardner Family Packages must be ordered 24 hours in advance.

The Ads will conclude their 2008-09 schedule with Fan Appreciation Night on Friday, April 10th at 7:00 pm, also against the Wolves. Milwaukee icon Pat McCurdy will entertain fans with his shtick in the east atrium before and after the game and also during the intermission and all fans in attendance will receive an Admirals team picture, courtesy of US Cellular. In addition, the Admirals will also be giving away many fabulous prizes, including a trip for two to Jamaica, courtesy of Funjet Vacations. Plus Reggy the Purple Party Dude will be in attendance, presented by Old Orchard Juice.

Fans can buy tickets for any Admirals game by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Groups of ten or more people receive a minimum of $2 off of each ticket. For more information or to order group tickets call the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.
