Norfolk Admirals News Release
NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals are pleased to announce an additional Military Appreciation Night on Friday, November 22 when the Admirals play host to the Portland Pirates. The addition was made to accommodate those military personnel affected by the government shutdown.
"We understand that it has been difficult for some military personnel and groups to plan to come out to this Friday's Military Appreciation Night because of the recent government shutdown," said Admirals Vice President Joe Gregory. "While this Friday's Military Appreciation Night will go on as scheduled, we wanted to make certain that all military personnel would have enough time to make plans to come and enjoy a game, and take part in a night that recognizes all that they do for our country."
All Military personnel can purchase game tickets for Friday's game (Oct.18), and the November 22 game for $11 when they present their valid Military ID to the Scope Box Office. To purchase discounted group tickets, call the Admirals office at 757-640-1212.
