Admirals and 102.1 FM the Tide Announce Partnership for 2016-17

NORFOLK, VA. - The Norfolk Admirals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, are excited to announce 102.1 FM The Tide as the organization's official radio partner for the 2016-17 season.
The Tide will air all Admirals regular season and playoff games, featuring the "Voice of the Admirals" Pete Michaud.
"We're looking forward to returning to the FM airwaves this season," remarked Admirals Vice President, Joe Gregory. "We know our fans will be thrilled with the improved signal 102.1 FM The Tide provides. We strive to make our games easily accessible to as many fans as possible whether we are at Scope or on the road."
Along with radio coverage, The Tide will be distributing Admirals information on their local online newspaper, SouthSideDaily.com. The website covers imperative local news and is based out of Virginia Beach.
The Admirals first broadcast on The Tide will be the team's home opener, Friday, October 14th at Norfolk Scope Arena. For more information regarding The Tide, visit the station's official website.
