Adirondack plays host to a pair of collections in early December. Saturday, December 1 is the annual canned food drive - bring a canned or non-perishable food item as a donation and receive a ticket redeemable for the Thunder game on December 28. All collections will be donated to the Open Door Mission in time to supply families in need with food for the holidays.

The following Saturday, December 8, is the Thunder coat drive - bring a coat to donate and receive a ticket to the game on January 4. This date also marks the initial postgame skate with the Thunder team, sponsored by Glens Falls Hospital. Make sure to bring your pair of skates to lace up and twirl around with the pros after the game.

December 15 will be a combination night at Cool Insuring Arena as it is both MARVEL Superhero night as well as the annual Teddy Bear Toss, presented by Aviation Mall. The Thunder will don Black Panther jerseys as they take on Star-Lord from Manchester. The game-worn MARVEL jerseys will be auctioned off via MeiGray in the weeks after the game is played. As it is also Teddy Bear Toss night, remember to toss your teddy bear on the ice after the first Thunder score of the game. Bring your own bear or buy one in the lobby - everyone who has a bear to donate will receive a raffle ticket to win one of the MARVEL Black Panther jerseys. All bears collected will be donated to the Salvation Army in Queensbury.
