Adirondack Thunder Announce Training Camp Schedule

Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, announced today their 2016 Training Camp schedule.
Thunder Training Camp begins with on-ice practices on Tuesday, October 4 at 10:30 a.m. The first week of training camp will have practices at 10:30 each day, Tuesday through Friday, October 7. The Thunder will be on the ice for double sessions, with off-ice workouts after. All Thunder practices will be open for viewing to the general public.
Saturday, October 8 will be the Thunder's first ever "Select-A-Seat" day, following a Thunder practice at 10:00 a.m. The event is open to the public and is intended for fans who have not purchased their ticket package for the 2016-17 season. The event will run from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Civic Center Lobby and will give fans the chance to meet and greet the team while reserving their seat locations. Thunder account representatives will be on hand to answer any seating questions and existing season ticket holders can pick up their tickets on this date as well.
"We're excited to start a new chapter of Thunder hockey as we kick off our second training camp," Adirondack Thunder Head Coach Cail MacLean said. "We're proud to add to the storied tradition of hockey in Glens Falls as we enter into the 35th Anniversary of hockey in the area. Our players, coaches and staff will be working hard to ensure that we provide a great product on the ice for our fans and continue our commitment to the community off the ice as well".
The Thunder will return to a 10:30 a.m. practice schedule on Sunday, October 9 through the conclusion of camp on Wednesday, October 12. The Thunder's training camp schedule is subject to change. Following the conclusion of training camp, the Thunder will begin their 2016-17 regular season on October 14 as the Thunder visit the Manchester Monarchs for back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday the 15th.
The Thunder are 26 days away from opening night, as they kick off their 2016-17 home schedule on Saturday, October 22, at 7:00 p.m. against the Manchester Monarchs.
