Aces Homestand To Feature 50-Cent Hot Dogs, Fireworks, Youth Days

RENO, Nev. - The Reno Aces return home for an eight-game homestand against the Omaha Royals and Iowa Cubs beginning Tuesday night, featuring 50-cent hot dogs, fireworks and two different youth days.
Tuesday's 6:05 p.m. game is the first-ever 50-cent Hot Dog Night presented by Fox 11. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase hot dogs for just 50 cents throughout Tuesday's game, which will be Omaha's first-ever contest in Reno.
Wednesday is another popular Education Day, with a special 11:35 a.m. first pitch. Children from area schools will be on hand prior to the game for a chalk talk with Aces players, as well as a lesson on the math and science behind the game of baseball.
Friday night, St. Mary's Fireworks Friday presented by KOLO 8 makes its return to Aces Ballpark, with a fireworks show following Friday's 7:05 p.m. game against the O-Royals.
Saturday's 7:05 contest will bring the Iowa Cubs to the Biggest Little City for the first time. Managed by Hall of Fame second baseman Ryne Sandberg, the Chicago Cubs Triple-A affiliate will play four games against the Aces from Saturday through Tuesday.
Saturday night is Terrible's T-Shirt Giveaway presented by KRNV, where 2,500 fans will receive a Brett Butler commemorative t-shirt upon entering the ballpark.
Sunday's 1:05 p.m. first pitch will be the second Little League Day of the season. Boys and girls on youth baseball and softball teams from throughout Northern Nevada will get a chance to meet Aces players before the game and will participate in an on-field parade prior to Sunday's game.
