Wilson, N.C. - The Wilson Tobs will receive some 'good luck' as the St. Louis Billikens will be sending junior infielder Alex King to the Tobs organization for the summer.
King, 6'2" junior from Lenexa, Kansas, posted a .297 batting average with a team-high 38 runs scored. King tallied 26 walks, which is the second highest on the Billikens' roster, 12 doubles and seven home runs.
"If we are going to win games, we need people to get on base," head coach Aaron Lynch said. "Alex gets on base and will be very effective in the season."
In the field, King saw 203 chances with committing only seven errors which led to a .966 fielding percentage. King also turned 28 double-plays on the season.
