Stacy Stephens to hold camp

The National Women's Basketball League's Stacy Stephens has put away her horns and is ready to soar as a Lubbock Hawk. The former Texas Longhorn signed on to play with Lubbock's newest professional team. Stephens is wasting no time acclimating herself to West Texas and winning the hearts of Lubbock citizens.

Stacy will teach some of the skills that made her one of the most dominant post players in the nation. Stephens will host a post camp for girls of all ages on Saturday, October 30, 2004, Saturday, November 6, 2004, and Saturday, November 20, 2004.

Stacy will be joined by former Lady Raider, Angie Braziel. Braziel a 1999 graduate of Texas Tech and a former Big 12 Player of the Year, spent the 1999 and 2000 season with the Charlotte Sting in the WNBA, as well as one season with the Indiana Fever. Angie is currently a basketball coach at Estacado High School in Lubbock, Texas.
