WWE Tickets on Sale Now!

Tickets to the World Wrestling Entertainment Raw event at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick, scheduled for Sunday, July 18, at 7 p.m. are now on sale. Tickets can be purchased at the Harry Grove Stadium box office, charging by phone at 301-815-9939 or online at www.frederickkeys.com.

WWE's Escape The Rules Tour will be making a stop at its only outdoor venue of the year on July 18 when it visits the home of the Frederick Keys.

This marks the third consecutive year that the WWE has made a visit to Frederick and the second time that they have featured the Raw line-up. Ticket prices for this year's event are $45, $35, $25 and $20.

Pro-Am Boxing Comes To Harry Grove Stadium

The Frederick Keys, along with their parent company Comcast-Spectacor, are pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for the Frederick Pro Boxing Showcase One at Harry Grove Stadium on Friday, July 16, at 7:30 p.m. The stadium's gates will open at 6 p.m. that night.

The "Main Event" that night will feature a ten-round bout between former IBF Cruiserweight Champion David Izeqwire (23-1) and Darnell "Ding-A-Ling Man" Wilson (8-0-1). Other professional bouts include a four-round fight between super flyweights Lewis Curtis (2-0) and Thomas Snow (0-0) and a professional female lightweight fight scheduled for four rounds that will pit April Alavaz (0-1) against Beverly Rose (0-0).

Several amateurs fighting in the boxing showcase will give the event a very local flavor. Middleweight Jimmy Ward (3-2), who is 18 and a recent graduate of Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick, will participate in one of the amateur matches. Also boxing on July 16 will be heavyweight Larry Pryor (2-1), a 22-year-old who is a graduate of Frederick High School. The third local boxer is middleweight Todd Smith, a 2002 graduate of Brunswick High School, who will make his debut under the lights at Harry Grove Stadium.

Keys Look To Turn Over A New Leaf

The First Half of the Carolina League's season has come to a close, and the Frederick Keys are looking to put a tough stretch of baseball behind them. The Keys, who went 20-49 over the past two months, will look to "turn over a new leaf" on Monday when their schedule returns to 0-0 as the Second Half of the Carolina League's schedule begins.

To show how serious they are about this chance at a fresh start, the Frederick Keys will offer a ticket discount to any fan that is willing to "turn over" a leaf to the box office next Monday through Wednesday when the Keys play the Winston-Salem Warthogs at Harry Grove Stadium.

All fans that present a leaf of any kind on one of those three nights will be rewarded by the Keys with a coupon good for $2 off an adult general admission ticket.

George Washington Would Be Proud

The third of four Dollar Nights, presented by 99.9 WFRE, is set for this Tuesday at Harry Grove Stadium. General admission tickets bought the day of the game cost just $1, and hot dogs are also the same low price of $1. The final Dollar Night is set for the final week of the season on Monday, August 30.

Challenger Little League Game At Harry Grove Stadium

In a tradition that dates back to 1990, the year that Harry Grove Stadium opened, members of the Challenger Little League will play a game with the assistance of Keys players this Friday at 5:30 p.m.

Approximately 60 children with a wide range of disabilities belong to the Challenger Little League with teams in the East Frederick Little League, Frederick American Little League and Frederick National Little League.

Scout Sleepover

The Keys and CloseCall America will be hosting the 5th Annual Scout Sleepover Night on Saturday, June 26. Following the game against the Winston-Salem Warthogs, kids and their parents can pitch their tent in the Harry Grove Stadium outfield for a night under the stars.

The stadium's video board will show the baseball-themed movie The Rookie. All participants will wake up to breakfast in the ballpark, courtesy of Giant Eagle and Costco. Families that register in advance will be recognized in a pre-game parade on the field, and participating scouts will receive a commemorative patch courtesy of CloseCall America. To register, or for more information, fans can contact the group events department at 301-815-9900.

Sunday Funday

Every Sunday when the Keys are in town in 2004 is Sunday Funday presented by The Washington Post at Harry Grove Stadium. Before the game this Sunday, Keys fans can go onto the field from 5-5:30 p.m. to play catch and enjoy spending time on a professional baseball field. After the game, kids 12-and-under can head back down to the field for The Washington Post Sunday Kids Base Run.

Ticket Availability

Kids 12-and-under wearing their little league uniforms are admitted to Harry Grove Stadium free of charge every Monday-Thursday, courtesy of the Summers Farm Fall-For-All Festival. General admission seats for kids 12 and under, senior citizens, and active military personnel are only $5. Adults can purchase general admission seats for just $8.
