Mke Wave Runs out of Steam in Cedar Rapids Thursday Night
January 20, 2018 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL)
Milwaukee Wave News Release
The Six-Time Champion Milwaukee Wave faced a very tenacious Cedar Rapids Rampage team Thursday night at U.S. Cellular Center in Iowa and came up short resulting in a third loss in a row.
Final score, Milwaukee Wave 3, Cedar Rapids Rampage 5.
"We expected better from ourselves tonight and are very disappointed," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "Each and every player needs to own their performance tonight, myself and the coaching staff included. We've got a long bus ride back to Milwaukee where we will talk about a few things and make some adjustments. Overall, we need to rest up, get healthy and prepare for Syracuse on Saturday in front of our fans at Panther Arena. We're definitely looking forward to that after this test of a road trip."
