The Canton Charge (4-7), powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, defeated the Texas Legends (6-6), 110-107, at the Dr. Pepper Arena on Wednesday night. The victory improves Canton's win streak versus Texas to eight games, with the last loss coming in their inaugural 2011-12 season.

The Charge dished out a season-best 26 assists on 40 field goals, including a game-high seven dimes from London Perrantes to go along with his team-high 22 points with two steals in 36 minutes. JaCorey Williams scored 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting with seven rebounds in 22 minutes. John Holland had an all-around effort of 15 points, five rebounds and five assists in 36 minutes. Kendrick Perkins had six points, 11 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 37 minutes. Marcus Thornton added 15 points for Canton.

Texas was paced by the double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds in 32 minutes by Jameel Warney. Dallas Mavericks assignment Johnathan Motley also posted a double-double of 24 points and 12 boards in 42 minutes. Justin Dentmon rounded out the 20+ point trio by netting 27 with five assists and two steals in 37 minutes for the Legends.
