Offense Carries Tomahawks Past Titans

Johnstown, Pa - The Tomahawks won their second game of the weekend as they defeated the New Jersey Titans by the score of 5-1.
The first period was all Johnstown Tomahawks as the team was able to put three goals past Titans' netminder, Dakota Delbridge, to start the opening frame.
First, it was Ben Schmidling at 6:10 of the first period. The assist went to Andy Nedeljkovic. The Tomahawks then took a 2-0 lead when Mitchell Hale was patient with the puck and out waited Delbridge to score. The assists went to Pavel Kharin and Andrew Andary at 15:29.
Then, while on the power play, the Tomahawks struck again. This time it was Roman Kraemer with the goal. The assists going to Nedeljkoic, his second of the period, and Donovan Ott, at 19:46.
In the second period, Johnstown kept on rolling.
At 8:57 the Tomahawks made it 4-0 while on the power play. Andy Nedeljkovic scored with the assists going to Toby Sengvongxay and Samuel Solensky.
The Tomahawks would score another power play at 17:24 of the second period. Donovan Ott scored his sixth of the season. The assist went to Samuel Solensky.
This made the game 5-0, a lead the Tomahawks took into the third period.
In the third period, New Jersey finally got on the scoreboard when Matt Cameron put a puck past Johnstown's Kade Phipps. The goal came at 1:10 and was assisted by Zach Parrott.
That's as close as the Titans would make the game as Johnstown shut the door the rest of the way and took the 5-1 win.
Phipps picked up his second win of the weekend and turned away 40 of 41 shots faced.
