ANAHEIM DUCKS ANNOUNCE ROSTER MOVES

SAN DIEGO - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled left wing Mike Liambas from the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). In addition, the Ducks reassigned center Kalle Kossila to San Diego.

Liambas, 28 (2/16/89), scored 2-35 points and collected 50 PIM in 13 games this season for the Gulls. In 270 AHL games, Liambas has recorded 15-2035 points with 886 PIM. Signed as a free agent on July 1, 2017, Liambas made his NHL debut with the Nashville Predators on Dec. 3, 2016 vs. New Jersey, and spent the majority of the 2016-17 season with Milwaukee (AHL), earning 3-811 points with 79 PIM in 72 games.

Kossila has appeared in seven games for the Ducks, scoring 1-12 points. He logged his first career NHL goal on Oct. 26 at Florida. Kossila has 2-46 points with six PIM in five AHL games this season with San Diego.
