November 21, 2017 - ECHL (ECHL)
Wichita Thunder News Release

Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder will close out a three-game homestand this afternoon against rival, Allen, at INTRUST Bank Arena.

Today is the fourth meeting of the season between the two teams. Allen has claimed both meetings in the Air Capital while the Thunder won its only visit to the Allen Event Center.

Allen jumped out to a two-goal lead and led by twice by a pair. Wichita cut the lead to one on two separate occasions, but couldn't get any closer in the 3-2 loss last night. Stephon Williams stopped 29 of 31 to hold down the Thunder offense.

Wichita's lead in the Mountain Division was cut to one point as Colorado and Idaho both won last night. Allen sits two points back of the Thunder for first place.

Mark MacMillan leads the Thunder with 13 points (7g, 6a). Greg Chase has eight points (4g, 4a) in seven games and points in each contest against Allen this season. Casey Pierro-Zabotel has 17 points (4g, 13a) in 15 games to lead the Americans. Joel Chouinard is right behind him with 10 points (2g, 8a).
