Hitmen Acquire Nick Schneider From Medicine

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club today announced they have acquired 1997-born goaltender Nick Schneider from the Medicine Hat Tigers in exchange for a fourth-round selection in the 2019 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
Schneider recently completed a career year with the Tigers, recording a personal-best 32 wins while allowing two or less goals in 16 of the 47 games he played. The Leduc, Alberta, native has appeared in 142 regular season games, posting a 76-47-3-2 record with a 3.30 goals-against average and 0.893 save percentage. In September 2015, Schneider signed an entry-level contract with the Calgary Flames as an undrafted free agent.
