Sunday's M-Braves, Smokies Game Postponed

Doubleheader scheduled for Monday at 10:35 AM ~~~~~ ~~~~~

PEARL, MS -- Sunday afternoon's contest between the Mississippi Braves and the Tennessee Smokies has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Monday morning at Trustmark Park. First pitch is scheduled for 10:35 AM. Gates open at 9:30 AM. Both games will be seven-inning affairs with approximately 30 minutes between games. Fans with tickets to Sunday's game may exchange their tickets for tickets to any of the M-Braves remaining regular-season home games (excluding July 3), pending availability. Monday is a special School Day Matinee as various schools throughout the state visit Trustmark Park on field trips to see the Mississippi Braves in action. Monday also features SportClips Military Monday where members of the United States military may purchase discounted tickets. The Mississippi Braves baseball team is the Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Since the inaugural 2005 season, over 115 M-Braves have gone on to play in the big leagues.
