Woodchucks Sign Three Bats to 2017 Roster

Wausau, WIS - The Wisconsin Woodchucks have announced the signing of three more players to the 2017 roster. Jordan Santos, Dalton Reed and Milton Rivera will be joining the 'Chucks for the summer

Santos, a 6' 0" freshman at the University of South Florida, will bolster the roster this summer. He was a four-year letter winner in high school, registering a career .347 batting average with a .459 on-base percentage, 103 hits and 58 RBIs. He is originally from Tampa, Fla.

Reed, a 6' 4" freshman at Seminole State College of Oklahoma, will bring his strong bat to the lineup. He has a .354 batting average with 20 home runs and 59 RBI with Seminole State. He will be joining the Kentucky baseball team next year. He is originally from Roff, OK.

Rivera, a 5'8" junior at North Carolina A&T, will contribute to the 'Chucks this season. Rivera is hitting .232 for the Aggies with 9 RBI. In the 2016 season, he finished with a .349 batting average, 26 RBI and seven home runs. He is originally from Humacao, Puerto Rico.

The Wisconsin Woodchucks' home opener is Wednesday, May 31, 2017. All ticket packages, group tickets, and single game tickets are now on sale for the upcoming 2017 season.
