JUPITER, FL - The Hammerheads scored the final five runs of their 8-3 win against the Daytona Tortugas Tuesday night at Roger Dean Stadium. The loss snapped Daytona's four-game winning-streak.

The Tortugas crawled closer in the fifth, after notching back-to-back leadoff singles. Mitch Piatnik drove home his second run of the year with a groundball to third.

Daytona would then tie it up an inning later when Nick Senzel crushed his first home run of the year to right field, by the 382 foot marker, off LHP Jose Quijada . However, the Tortugas would not score again.

Jupiter pulled in front for good in the home half of the frame against RHP Jake Paulson . The go-ahead run scored on a Paulson wild pitch, after the leadoff man reached on a dropped third strike. The Hammerheads would later add two more runs in the inning on a Gavin LaValley fielding error at first.

The Hammerheads scored some runs of insurance in the seventh when Rodrigo Vigil came off the bench to double home a run and score on a Schales double three batters later.

The Tortugas continue the series in Jupiter Wednesday, when they throw RHP Jose Lopez (1-1, 2.25) against RHP Felipe Gonzalez (2-1, 2.51). First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 PM, with the pregame starting at 6:20 PM on AM 1230 and AM 1490 WSBB.
