Winston-Salem Dash News Release

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Fans can follow the Winston-Salem Dash through their television, radio, computer and mobile device thanks to an expansive broadcast schedule for the 2017 season.

The Dash's long-standing relationships with 600 AM WSJS and My 48 (WMYV-TV) will continue this year. For a fifth consecutive season, WSJS will broadcast all Thursday games, both home and road. My 48 will carry the home opener (Thursday, April 13 vs. Buies Creek) and all 10 Sunday home games, marking the sixth straight season that Dash baseball will be on My 48.

In addition, all regular season and postseason games will be streamed at wsdash.com/broadcast and the TuneIn Radio App, which is a free download on all mobile devices. MiLB.tv, a subscription-based service, will offer a video stream for all 71 home games and select road games.

Brian Boesch will enter his sixth season as the Dash's lead play-by-play broadcaster. Boesch, who has called more than 600 Dash games, also works as the studio host for the University of Michigan's football and men's basketball broadcasts through IMG College, which is located in Winston-Salem. Joe Weil will return for his second season with the Dash. During the offseason, Weil also works with IMG College, primarily on broadcasts of University of Florida football and Gonzaga University basketball.

David Kahn has joined the Dash's broadcast booth for 2017. Kahn, a 2016 graduate of Tulane University, spent last season with Triple-A New Orleans as an assistant within the team's broadcast, media relations and multimedia departments. He assisted in the organization's nickname transition from Zephyrs to Baby Cakes.

Boesch, Weil and Kahn will bring Dash baseball to fans on radio and internet broadcasts. During television coverage on My 48, Boesch will be joined by a rotating panel of analysts, including former American League All-Star Lary Sorensen. An 11-year MLB pitcher with seven different organizations, Sorensen also broadcasts for Wake Forest University's baseball program.

The 2017 season begins Thursday, April 6, when the Dash travel to Buies Creek in a game that will be available on WSJS. Winston-Salem's home opener on Thursday, April 13, against Buies Creek will be broadcast on both WSJS and My 48. For a full breakdown, visit the Dash's Broadcast Corner on wsdash.com.
