The San Diego Sockers ran rampant in its final home game of the regular season with an 11-1 win over Atletico Baja in front of the biggest crowd of the season of 5,943 at the Valley View Casino Center.

Legendary captain Kraig Chiles added another noteworthy chapter to his already illustrious career with four goals and three assists.

Two of Chile's helpers were put onto the feet of Luan Olivera who recorded his first hat-trick of the season. It was the perfect present for the Brazilian, just a day shy of his 29th birthday.

Eduardo Velez led a staunch defense that allowed just 12 shots on goal.

Sockers' goalkeeper Boris Pardo saved 11 shots as Atletico Baja had to wait almost 34 minutes to record it's first and only goal of the match through Roman Ramirez.

Atletico finishes the regular season at 10-10 and will turn its attention to the Southwest Division Playoff series with Soles de Sonora in early March.

San Diego has one more regular season match at Tacoma on March 4th with playoff implications.

The Sockers have already clinched the Pacific Division regular season title and will host its home leg of the Pacific Division series on March 12th. There will be a celebrity match at half-time highlighted by former U.S. Men's national team and Major League Soccer's all-time leading soccer, Landon Donovan.

Fans can get their playoff tickets now by going to www.sdsockers.com or by calling 1-866-799-GOAL (4625).
