Atletico Baja vs Ontario Fury Match Ruled Final

KANSAS CITY- The Major Area Soccer League (MASL) match between Atletico Baja and Ontario Fury has been ruled final, according to MASL Commissioner Josh Schaub. Ontario Fury will be credited with a 6-5 victory.
The match was originally suspended at halftime due to the weather conditions surrounding the playing facility, Unidad Deportiva Tijuana, at the time. Although the MASL rules are not specific to this issue, Schaub reviewed similar situations in sports leagues and concluded the game should be suspended due to the physical risk to players. The game has now been officially ruled final, pending appeal.
