Craig Warzecha Promoted to Assistant General Manager

Bradenton, Fla. - The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced that Craig Warzecha has been promoted to Manager, Sales and Assistant General Manager of the Bradenton Marauders. Sales Director and Marauders General Manager Rachelle Madrigal announced the appointment, which is effective immediately.
Warzecha joined the Pirates and Marauders in 2015 in the role of Account Manager, Ticket Sales. In addition to his responsibilities in cultivating new business and maximizing customer retention, he will supervise Bradenton-based sales staff and expand his involvement in gameday operations for Pirates Spring Training and the Marauders.
"Craig has proven himself as a dynamic presence on our sales team," Madrigal said. "This promotion will allow us to maximize his talents to benefit our entire Florida Operations department."
Warzecha serves on the Leadership Board of Manatee Young Professionals and is a 2016-2017 Leadership Manatee Graduate. Prior to joining the Pirates, he held sales positions in professional baseball with the Lakewood BlueClaws and Clearwater Threshers. He also completed a business development internship with Minor League Baseball.
"I am eager to make the most of this new opportunity," Warzecha said. "2017 has the potential to be a year of tremendous growth in our sales and business operations and I'm excited to begin the task of guiding those efforts."
Warzecha graduated from the University of Tampa in 2014. He currently resides in Tampa.
