Havoc Add Schiavo While Shuffling Goaltender Tandem

HUNTSVILLE, AL - The Havoc and head coach Glenn Detulleo announced the signing of John Schiavo while moving Tyler Steel to the IR.

Schiavo registered a goal and five assists in 14 games for the Macon Mayhem last year. The East Patchogue, N.Y. native started the 2015-16 season with the ECHL's Missouri Mavericks tallying an assist in five games. Prior to his rookie campaign, Schiavo spent time in the New York Islanders' rookie camp.

Also, announced today, Huntsville has moved goaltender Tyler Steel to the 14-day IR retroactive January 8th and signed Alex Larson. The Madison, AL native dressed for one game with the Columbus Cottonmouths this season. Larson spent the last four years at Nichols College registering a 58-26-7 record with nine shutouts.

The Havoc will take on the Macon Mayhem this Friday for the team's first ever Space Night at the Von Braun Center. Huntsville will partner up with WZDX for another Fantastic Friday in the Rocket City. Dress up as an astronaut for a chance to win a prize.
