Canadian OL Corey Watman Extends with Argos Through 2018

TORONTO - The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the team has signed Canadian offensive lineman Corey Watman to a contact extension through 2018.
Watman, a 6-2, 315-pound native of Queensville, ON, played in 15 games, starting in 13, with the Argonauts in 2016 after originally signing with the club as a free agent on February 9. He previously spent three seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, who selected him fourth overall in the 2013 CFL Draft. In three seasons with the Riders, he played 49 regular season games, starting in six of those games.
The Eastern Michigan alum played 46 games, starting in 30, over four seasons with the Eagles after spending his high school career at Newmarket's Huron Heights Secondary School.
