The action-packed game started right off the bat, as Macon's Dennis Sicard and Fayetteville's Brad Drobot squared off at the opening faceoff. Tayler Thompson and Joe Kalisz scored for Fayetteville to win the shootout and give them a 3-2 shootout win.
