Gagne, Erkamps Head to Binghamton

Wichita, KS- The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, announced this afternoon that forward Gabriel Gagne and defenseman Macoy Erkamps have been recalled by Ottawa to the American Hockey League's Binghamton Senators.
Gagne and Erkamps were both assigned to the Thunder from Ottawa. Gagne was assigned on October 20th while Erkamps joined Wichita on October 13th. This will be the first time that both Gagne and Erkamps join Binghamton.
Gagne has seven points (3g, 4a) in 14 games so far this season with the Thunder. The Laval, Quebec native was selected #36 overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
Erkamps was signed to a three-year entry-level deal with Ottawa this past April. He had a career season last year with the Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings, piling up 71 points (13g, 58a) in 71 games and was a plus-47. He is currently tied for third in assists on the Thunder with seven in 15 games.
Nathan Moon and Logan Nelson have been activated from reserve and are expected in the line-up tonight.
Wichita takes on the Rapid City Rush twice this weekend, starting tonight at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center at 8:05 p.m. CST.
The Thunder returns home to start a three-game homestand at 7:05 p.m. on Friday, December 9th against the Allen Americans.
