WHAT: ECHL REGULAR SEASON GAME
WHEN: Friday, December 2, 2016 @ 7:00 PM

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: The Thunder take on a new opponent tonight as they host the Colorado Eagles in the first ever meeting between the two teams. Adirondack and Colorado will square off once again tomorrow evening to complete the season series. The Thunder enter tonight undefeated in regulation in their last five, extended with a 4-2 victory over Manchester on Tuesday evening at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
A NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER: The Thunder completed the month of November on top of the North Division with 26 points, two more than second place Manchester. Adirondack went 7-3-2 during the month of November for 16 points, surpassing their total from 2015-16 in both wins and points. Adirondack ranks third in the ECHL in winning percentage on the season at .722, trailing only Florida (.794) and Alaska (.735).
FOR PETE'S SAKE: Adirondack Thunder Captain Peter MacArthur extended his point streak to six games on Tuesday, as he iced the victory with an empty net goal in the game's final minute. The 5-10 winger now has 11 points (5-6-11) on the season, tied for fourth on the team. MacArthur is also one of the lone Thunder players that has played against Colorado before, as he's netted 14 points (4-10-14) in eight games as a member of the Las Vegas Wranglers. The Clifton Park native set career bests in assists (4 - 10/28/11) and points (5 - 1/7/12) in games against Colorado in the 2011-12 season.
HENRY. JAMES HENRY: Adirondack Thunder forward James Henry continued his hot run of form with a goal and an assist in Tuesday's win over Manchester. The 5-9 forward picked up the Thunder's second tally of the evening, which came shorthanded, to tie the game in the second period. On the season, Henry now has nine points (2-7-9) in 13 games played, ranking in a tie for fourth on the team with seven helpers.
THE BIG SHORT: Adirondack scored its third shorthanded goal of the season with Henry's marker in Tuesday's second period. Henry, who joined Phil Lane and Brian Ward as the Thunder skaters with shorthanded goals this season, picked up his first shorthanded goal of the season. In his ECHL career, Henry has collected five shorthanded markers, including one in each of his four seasons in the league.
MULTI-POINT MATHIEU: Defenseman Mathieu Brodeur had yet another multi-point game on Tuesday, as he picked up two assists in the victory. Brodeur leads all Thunder skaters with 13 assists and ranks third league-wide with 17 points (4-13-17) amongst defensemen. Brodeur's 1.21 points per game leads all ECHL blueliners who have played in multiple games.
TOM AND JERRY: Adirondack added a second goaltender on Thursday as netminder Tom McCollum joined the team from the Stockton Heat. McCollum has appeared in one game with the Heat this season, where he picked up a victory. The Amherst, NY native has appeared in three career NHL games with the Detroit Red Wings and was originally drafted in the first round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
