San Diego Gulls Recall Zac Larraza from Utah

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled left wing Zac Larraza from the Utah Grizzlies of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).

Larraza, 23 (2/25/93), appeared in two games with Utah, collecting 1-12 points with two penalty minutes (PIM) after being assigned to the Grizzlies on Oct. 20. The 6-2, 194-pound forward has yet to appear in a regular season game with San Diego in 2016-17.

Selected in the seventh round (196th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft, the Scottsdale, Ariz. native has appeared in 24 career AHL contests, recording 3-58 points, including 1-34 points and four PIM with San Diego in 12 contests during the 2015-16 season. Additionally, Larraza has collected 21-1132 points with 20 PIM and a +7 rating in 41 ECHL games.
