Raiders Announce Saskatchewan Rush Night
October 25, 2016 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Prince Albert Raiders News Release
Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders are pleased to announce that they are partnering with the two-time defending National Lacrosse League champion Saskatchewan Rush for "Saskatchewan Rush Night" at the Art Hauser Centre on Friday, November 25.
The Raiders will wear a special jersey that blends the brands of the Raiders and the Rush together to celebrate lacrosse locally and provincially. Game-worn jerseys will be available for purchase prior to the game online, or via a silent auction following the game. Part of the proceeds from the jersey sales will be donated to the Prince Albert Minor Lacrosse Association.
"We are very excited to partner with the Rush for this night," said Raiders business manager Michael Scissions. "The Rush have become an integral part of the sports landscape locally and across the province. The popularity of lacrosse is growing throughout the province, especially in Prince Albert due to the Rush moving to Saskatoon last season."
The NLL Champion's Cup will be at the Art Hauser Centre for the game so fans can have their picture taken with the trophy. Also in attendance that night are the Crush Girls and the Rush's mascot, Bruiser.
Tickets for the game on Friday, November 25 can be purchased at the Raider Office or at raiderhockey.com.
