Peterborough Petes News Release

Peterborough, ON- On Thursday, September 29 at 11am, Petes President Dave Pogue, several Petes players, and Roger the Mascot will take part in the Five Counties Children's Centre 40th Anniversary celebration.

The event, which will be held at 872 Dutton Rd. in Peterborough, features the Smilezone Foundation's transformation of the FCCC waiting room and recognition of Dr. Mary Thain's forty years of service.

The Petes played a small role in the transformation of the waiting room area into a new Smilezone, donating four game-worn Petes jerseys and committing to player community visits to the Centre throughout the year. Logan DeNoble, Dylan Wells, and several other Petes players will be in attendance to help celebrate.

The Petes are proud to support community initiatives, and hope that the community supports the Petes! Season Kick-Off Packs are still available, and don't forget to download the free Petes Mobile App powered by Kawartha TV & Stereo, available for iPhone or Android devices.
