AUGUSTA, GA - The Augusta GreenJackets, Single-A Affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, in conjunction with the Children's Hospital of Georgia are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Mystery Ball Night as part of the festivities for Saturday, September 3rd against the Rome Braves (Atlanta Braves) @ 6:05pm. The last homestand of the year features a pivotal playoff atmosphere and matchup.
"Your GreenJackets are playing great baseball and approaching our first playoff appearance since 2013, as we wrap up the season we are excited to partner with the Children's Hospital of Georgia and raise funds," stated GreenJackets General Manager Tom Denlinger. "What autographed ball fans will take home is a mystery but it all supports a great organization and we invite you to come and Orange Out the Lake with us."
Over 100 baseballs have been donated as a part of the Mystery Ball promotion. The baseballs consist of current and former players throughout Major and Minor League Baseball. All the Mystery baseballs will be available to purchase during the game for only $10 with the proceeds benefiting the Children's Hospital of Georgia. Guests are encouraged to get here early and support this great cause. What ball you get is a mystery as you pull it out of a bin.
