San Antonio Stars Sign Vicki Baugh For Remainder Of The Season

SAN ANTONIO, TX- The San Antonio Stars announced today that the team has signed forward Vicki Baugh for the remainder of the season. Per club policy, terms of the contract were not announced.

Baugh (Tennessee, 6'4) was signed to a seven-day contract on July 18 and appeared in the Stars' Aug. 26 game versus New York. She recorded 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block versus the Liberty. Baugh most recently played in the WNBA for the Tulsa Shock during the 2014 and 2015 seasons, where she averaged 4.0 points and 3.5 rebounds in 11.9 minutes. During the 2015-16 season, she averaged 6.6 points and 5 rebounds in 12.9 minutes for Winnus (South Korea). Baugh was selected by the Tulsa Shock in the third round (25th overall) of the 2012 WNBA Draft.

San Antonio starts a two-game road trip Sunday, Aug. 28 at Washington and plays at Connecticut Tuesday, Aug. 30. The Stars return home to host the Los Angeles Sparks Thursday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
