San Jose Giants Homestand Preview: August 30 - September 5
Joe Panik Backpack Giveaway, fan-favorite Italian Night and Fan Appreciation Night highlight homestand
San Jose, CA- The San Jose Giants conclude the 2016 season with a seven-game homestand beginning Tuesday, August 30 as they host the Bakersfield Blaze for a three-game series before welcoming the Visalia Rawhide for four games. This homestand will not only feature great baseball, but also fun for the entire family with a Joe Panik Backpack Giveaway, fan-favorite Italian Night, a special Labor Day ticket offer and Fan Appreciation Night all scheduled.

Baseball and Beer Sampler Ticket: Want the best of the local craft brew Municipal Stadium has to offer? This is the ticket for you! State Farm Night: Fans looking to come to the game on Wednesday, August 31 and Thursday, September 1 can visit local State Farm agencies to receive complimentary tickets or show your State Farm Pocket Agent App at the Municipal Stadium Box Office for up to four (4) complimentary tickets. Loop Neighborhood Night: New to the 2016 season, fans can visit their local Loop Neighborhood Convenience Store to pick-up complimentary tickets to the game on Wednesday, August 31 and Thursday, September 1.

Japanese Heritage Night: On Friday, September 2 Municipal Stadium will be transformed with themed booths and décor as the San Jose Giants celebrate Japanese Heritage Night. Fans who come dressed in traditional Japanese clothing will receive two future game tickets and can participate in the Best Dressed Contest.
Postgame Fireworks Series: Immediately following the game Friday, September 2 fans will want to stick around to see the night sky light up over Municipal Stadium as part of the season-long fireworks series.

Italian Night presented by Country Club Villa Properties and Battaglia Ranch Tree Farm: Travel to the Old Country with the San Jose Giants for the Ninth Annual Italian Night on Saturday, September 3, presented by Country Club Villa Properties and Battaglia Ranch Tree Farm. Municipal Stadium will be transformed with Italian themed vendor booths, traditional Italian food and music, raffles and giveaways. There will also be an in-game silent auction for the special Italian themed jerseys the players will be wearing, with winning bidders taking the field after the game to retrieve their jerseys off the respective player's backs.

The auction will end on Fan Appreciation Night on Monday, September 5. Winning bidders get to go on the field immediately following the final out to retrieve their jerseys off the respective players' backs.
Fan Appreciation Day: Fans, this day is all about thanking YOU! On Monday, September 5 all fans who enter the gates will receive a giveaway item from the year, and the night will feature fan-focused promotions. There will be a multitude of lucky number giveaways, so be sure to buy a scorecard featuring lucky numbers on the way in!
Labor Day Futures Club Offer: Come out to the ballpark on Monday, September 5 and celebrate Labor Day with the San Jose Giants in the City National Futures Club! *General Admission tickets are NOT assigned seating. They are on a first come first serve basis in the stadium grandstand and bleachers.
Throughout the season, single game tickets will be available at the Box Office and over the phone at (408) 297-1435 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and online at sjgiants.com. Tickets on the day of each game increase by $1. Tickets for firework and giveaway games increase by $2 for luxury box, box and upper reserved seats.

Watch on MiLB.TV: The San Jose Giants are on MiLB.TV for the 2016 season. Fans who cannot make it to Municipal Stadium can now enjoy all San Jose Giants home baseball games for a monthly subscription of $12.99 or purchase the 2016 yearly subscription for $49.99. All home games will be streamed live and also be available on demand. With a subscription fans will also receive access to more than 2,500 Minor League games so that they'll never miss a pitch, a prospect or a promotion.
